Combined heat and power
As a technology for efficient power and energy production with a track record proven over decades, combined heat and power has been coming to the attention of ever more energy producers, consumers and suppliers in recent times.
The technical developments have made CHP technology into much more than the peak-load system which was common in the past. High availability, safety and reliability make CHPP an indispensible means of saving energy. Significant CO2 reductions - thanks to efficiency factors of 90% and above - make a key contribution to achieving your climate targets.
In doing so, the possible uses of CHP plants are extremely diverse. Decisive for economic operation when used as base load supply is the corresponding annual heat requirement. Running times of over 4,000 hours per year are the prerequisite for this.
CHP plants are especially suitable for operation in manufacturing plants as well as in swimming pools, hospitals, nursing homes, larger housing areas and administrative facilities.
